The False Allegations of Child Sexual Abuse
For some time now that we live with a term that has done more harm than good to a matter so delicate and complex as child sexual abuse, I mean SAP (pariental Alienation Syndrome). Richard Gardner, the inventor of so poor term, an individual with no qualifications defined and acknowledged pedophile who ended up committing suicide, put his "research? serving abusers Niñ @ s. These would, synthetically, the record on which are based many beliefs of false accusation.
Someone will say is it that there are false allegations? And if you were in court under oath and had to respond with a yes or no, should respond with a yes.
To take an example that allows us to have a picture of this reality, let's imagine that we are investigating the cause of death in the human race. We started shuffling the hunger, disease, accidents ... but then someone comes along and tells us that people are dying because you drop a pot on the head when she went out for a walk. And not only states but also happens to equate to the other causes, if not refute. Absurd is not it? Yes, although, indeed, someone dies from time to time because it falls into a pot head.
One would think that such a sensitive issue can not be subject to these issues, which should prevail over all welfare of the child and ensure maximum safety. But no such thing happens. That is, does occur in word, but the reality is something quite different.
The reality is that we live in a patriarchal society and that in this type of complaint is much easier and doubt inhibited mental and emotional stability of the mother (the complainant, almost always).
In the current Barcelona statements are made by the FOEN (functional unit of child abuse) of Sant Joan de Deu hospital, which stipulate that the main reason for this increase are the complaints from family disputes that one of the parts of the couple says that the other has sexually abused the child in common and in some cases mothers who suffered childhood sexual abuse focus their fears on children. All this would have a material if, for example, if I said that before there was a case and now there are two. But this is not the issue, since then we have the following statement: The coordinator of the FOEN, Lluís Comas said that now only a third of the cases end up confirming that you have been sexually assaulted.
This leads me to conclude that there is a clear intention of these statements, a statement that, unfortunately, not only attentive to the reality and truth of the matter but, worse, undermine the protection of minors. To understand, Mr. Lluís Comas tells us that two thirds of children allegedly abused you drop a pot on his head, returning to the previous example.
When questioning a child of two or three years for five minutes on stage intimidating, separated from the mother, and is ignored (if not despise) the views of the same, you get a result is exactly the result you want to get . Hence the two-thirds of "false allegations". And while the child is doomed to continue seeing your abuser. This is the unfortunate reality we live. Has anyone asked how many offenders are in prisons? Studies conducted in Spain, coinciding with those made in other Western countries, speak 20% of the population abused, abuses that are perpetrated in a percentage ranging between 60% and 70%, for the family. Behind a high number of sex offenders, people who mostly still enjoy absolute impunity.
