Birthday (Letter to Children)

Stands for "chatting with the Children's Theatre Group Dalías Tutti Frutti"

To mark the International Day of Children's and Youth, I include Saturday April 2, 2011, the poem I wrote for my niece as Julia in 2005, recited by her at the Workshop "Poetic Recital Radio" I taught Theatre Group Dalías Child Tutti Frutti.

My dear children,

Today I turned twelve years.

But then, before going to blow the cake,

and while the guests arrive,

I wanted to write this letter

Farewell my room.

Mom and I have prepared the table,

with delicious canapés,

and there bologna sandwiches,

and there are tuna, chorizo,

and peanuts, almonds,

Coca Cola ... and milkshakes!

After all that snacking,

we'll play hide and seek,

and I think a rock karaoke

I'm going to give away the tite.

How well pass us!

Or, the pilla-pilla. But with runners ...!

Well, you see me waiting,

and do you know? I really am impatient

to open the gifts.

What will surprise me Tere?

The grandmother's been pleased.

It is this collection of watercolors

they advertised on TV.

But now I know you're leaving.

The friends of mine at school

seem excited

with that of getting older,

but to me, I will give nostalgic

Plaza de las Flores,

if, for study purposes,

I have to get away from it

a successful future

making a career.

Just thinking about it, I get scared ...

I will stay in our school!

And I'll always be a child!

Swinging in the ride

Grandma's, or asleep,

with the bear in my breast,

praying when they heard

thunder through the window;

or cheering from the coffee

there just ladito sea

an evening with my brother

Dad taught us.

Or smell rising up early and

algae of the place,

and there find Gabriel

crystal for Mom ...
