Affiliate Tip - Try Links

It may seem like a very simple suggestion, but you'd be surprised how many people uploading affiliate code that is accidentally damaged.

Case in point - one of my top ten 'super affiliates has recently been carrying out the bad links.

E 'essential to test, because you deserve to get paid for every referral you make to affiliate programs. And the tracking is erased when the links are corrupt.

The biggest culprit is when gremlins HTML editor to manipulate the code.

Sometimes, various HTML editors will attempt to correct or embellish your code and the result can be a big mess that sends less traffic tracking. Or the shot goes right to a dead link.

Any small change to the code itself can and will hurt your chances of successfully track the transactions relate. Dreamweaver and FrontPage have caused headaches for many affiliates in the past, because of this problem.

Also, sometimes you can be the problem. It 'easy to copy just a portion of the code and paste the partial fragment of the page. Simple human error on your part can cause dollars to fly right out of his pocket, and there is nothing typically a merchant can do to make good on lost transactions, because the ID does not make them.

When you put your affiliate links to new, you should always click on them to make sure they are working. If it is a lead program to ask the affiliate manager if it is OK to run a dummy lead to test the tracking.

If you are not sure if the code is correct, send the URL (s), where you have your affiliate link to your affiliate manager. If you can not be bothered to help, not be bothered to promote them. ;-) ......
